Every page of this tome is filled with closely-packed writing and illustrations. One passage reads:

Saint Waidwen pursed his lips and stared down the glowing, glowering visage which peered at him between stalks of vorlas. He gripped the wooden shaft of his scythe, slick with sweat from his palms - the hands of a working man, which he was.

"Then you're Eothas, then,' he said.

'THAT I AM,' said the god.

"Then you already know what I want,' said the farmer, who was Waidwen.

'THAT I DO.'

Waidwen unknotted the taut cord which restrained his ponytail and let the flowing, flowering locks cascade around his shoulders and rest over the shelf of his bosom. He winked and cleared his throat before winking again.

'I've got a candle hasn't been lit properly.'

Eothas moved closer and—

Sabina's Ranger companion, Eamoc! More info under the cut :^)

About a year after Thaos's defeat, Sabina developed a close bond with a stag called Eamoc, whom she received as a gift from the Glanfathan tribes of Twin Elms. As the years passed, Eamoc's presence was instrumental in repairing Sabina's soul post-awakening, and as their two souls became intertwined, he became her ranger companion. After Caed Nua was destroyed, Eamoc was found carrying Sabina's hollow body on his back, and he followed as they set a course for Eothas.

While he loves Edér for the head scritches he gives, Eamoc does not care for Aloth, and no one (Sabina included) can understand why. It also took Eamoc quite some time to find his sea legs 😅

Been playing Pillars of Eternity all week and decided to try to keep a journal of interesting moments, since it turned out to be pretty fun when i did it with fallout 1. It's a much longer game so this is gonna take a while but here are my favorite pages!

finally figured out why "you're awake? what are you doing awake?" keeps Getting Me and I think that aside from the relief of seeing the Watcher awake it's the implication that Edér wasn't expecting to, meaning that whatever he was going to do, he was 100% prepared to have to do it alone
